InflaCare-XTM is a unique and comprehensive natural supplement that takes advantage of the synergy between traditional anti-inflammatory herbal therapy and the therapeutic use of proteolytic enzymes to alleviate pain, inflammation and to improve function and quality of life.
The anti-inflammatory herbs included effectively limit our bodies’ reaction to tissue injury while the proteolytic enzymes accelerate the healing process by facilitating the removal of damaged and dead cellular material from the site of injury. InflaCare-XTM is an excellent alternative to acetaminophen, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen and NSAIDs and does not irritate the digestive system.
Science and Traditional Therapy
Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that has been used as an alternative medicine and clinically researched for over 25 years in Europe, Japan and Asia. Clinical and scientific studies have shown that it reduces the swelling, fluid retention and pain associated with inflammation.
Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are potent proteolytic enzymes. These proteolytic enzymes may accelerate the healing process by removing debris from the site of injury and promoting the growth of healthy tissue.
Bromelain is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes obtained from the stem of Ananas comosus, the pineapple plant. Pineapple has been used for centuries in Central and South America to treat indigestion and reduce inflammation. Bromelain can be used to treat a variety of inflammatory conditions but it is particularly effective in reducing inflammation from infection, post-surgery (dental, ear, nose, and throat), and from physical trauma injury such as sprains and strains.
Boswellia gum resin (Boswellia serrata). Several randomized pilot clinical trials have demonstrated its efficacy and potent ability to control the proliferation, differentiation, and activation of CD4+ T cells. T cells are white blood cells that are an essential component of the immune response and are responsible for the 5 cardinal signs of inflammation: pain, swelling, heat/warmth, redness and loss of function.
Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is one of the most commonly used plants in Latin America because of its validated medicinal properties as an antioxidant, anti-proliferative, immunostimulant, and anti-inflammatory.
Cayenne Fruit (Capsicum annum) is an active ingredient of chilli peppers. Capsicum is a naturally occurring irritant that renders the sensory neurons unresponsive to further pain stimulation by other pain-related neuropeptides.
Deglycyrrhizinated licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a medicinal plant cultivated in China and India. Licorice root coats the stomach lining with a protective gel, thereby relieving heartburn and stomach upset.
Devils’ Claw Root (Harpagophytum procumbens). Clinical studies support its effectiveness at alleviating pain and improving mobility associated with joint and low back pain. Its therapeutic effects are attributed to its ability to inhibit nitric oxide, NF-κB and COX-2 expression.
Turmeric root (curcuma longa) is a spice found in curry powder. Clinical and scientific studies attribute its potent anti-inflammatory activitiy to its ability to inhibit and down regulate key pro-inflammatory mediators including cytokines, PGE2, nitric oxide, NF-κB, COX-2, lipoxygenase and the metalloproteases.
