Consult a healthcare practitioner before taking if you have diabetes. There is limited evidence from preclinical studies that burdock may have hypoglycemic activity. Use by adults with renal failure and/or diabetes, and/or heart failure should be avoided because of possible complications due to hyperkalemia. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
