Sisu Melatonin. Melatonin improves quality of sleep for people suffering from jet lag and sleeping disorders.
Sleep deprivation can make it difficult to perform normal daily tasks well. Disruption of the circadian rhythm due to jet lag or night-shift work can cause sleep deprivation. Several studies have demonstrated that taking melatonin to help induce sleep at times when the body is not ready for sleepsuch as during the day time or after traveling across time zonescan help improve performance after waking. In a study of 27 US Air Force reservists who traveled eastbound across 7 time zones, melatonin helped subjects perform a series of demanding tasks better despite jet lag. This was not true of prescription drugs, which improved sleep but tended to have a "hangover."
Each Tablet Contains:
Melatonin (synthetic)...5 mg
Also contains: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), croscarmellose sodium.
For insomnia: take 1 tablet daily at bedtime.
For jet lag: take 1 tablet daily at bedtime, 3 days before the flight and 3-5 days after arrival.
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 9 weeks.
