Platinum Easyiron E.G. - Extra Gentle - Fast Acting Iron Support
Introducing Platinum Easyiron E.G
For most people, EasyIron is generally gentle and non-constipating. However some people are extremely sensitive to iron, especially those with a history of irregular bowel movements. For those few, Platinum Naturals introduces EasyIron E.G. (Extra Gentle). EasyIron E.G. contains half the amount of iron (9mg) of the original EasyIron formula (18mg), but still contains all of the beneficial co-factors (Folic Acid, Vitamins B6, B12, and Vitamin C) PLUS added Copper and Zinc for an increased synergistic effect. Some people will choose to take one capsule of EasyIron E.G. per day and others who need more can take one with breakfast and one with dinner. Just like the original formula, EasyIron E.G. is quickly absorbed (using the OST delivery system) and comes in an easy-to-swallow, vegetarian capsule.
It is amazing!! After only one bottle my iron level was almost up to par and the blood analyst was impressed and wanted to know what I'd taken to have such quick results. Now they recommend your product to their clients. Thank you.
- Jodi S. Alberta, Canada
"I recommend EasyIron because blood tests for iron turn out significantly better with its higher potency, above and beyond those seen with liquid iron and other natural iron preparations. The product is extremely well tolerated and consistently effective."

How Can You Tell If You're Iron Deficient?
Although it is difficult to test for iron deficiency because it is stored in various organs and released into the blood stream as required, there are certain symptoms to watch for:
Fatigue / Lack of energy
Feeling cold when others are not
Who Are Most At Risk?
Those who have a diet low in iron.
Menstruating women and teenagers
Pregnant women and nursing mothers
Why you should take an iron supplement
Iron is a key nutrient your body needs to make hemoglobin - a protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body.
The most common condition associated with inadequate red blood cell production is called Iron-Deficiency Anemia, which occurs because of the cells' reduced capacity for carrying oxygen.
The World Health Organization reports that between 66-80% of the world's population may be iron deficient and that over 30% are anemic - mainly due to iron deficiency.
Iron Alone May Be Insufficient
Your body requires iron, folic acid and vitamin B12 to make healthy blood cells. Yet most popular brands of iron supplements do not contain these other essential nutrients.
WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?
EasyIron is the best solution because it is extremely effective and fast-acting. No other iron supplement can claim these features:
- Better Absorption - using Platinum Naturals' Omega Suspension
Technology (OST), EasyIron is a revolutionary quickly absorbed
liquid supplement uniquely designed to help build healthy

Acid and Vitamin C into one convenient, easy to swallow,
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Your body requires iron, folic acid, and B12 to make healthy blood cells. Yet most popular brands of iron do not contain B12 and folic acid, even though vitamin B12 -- a general label for a group of essential biological compounds known as cobalamins -- is structurally related to hemoglobin in the blood and is essential to treating anemia.
Why should i worry about iron deficiency?
Having the proper amount of iron in your body allows for a healthy body. It helps fight infections, while helping your body function optimally.
What can cause low iron levels?
Lack of iron in the diet is a contributing factor for children, women,
the elderly and vegetarians
Growth spurts in children under the age of 3 who are growing so
fast that their bodies may have a hard time keeping up with the amount of iron they need.
Pregnant and breast feeding mothers need to increase their intake
of iron to meet their needs and the needs of their child
Blood loss in women as a result of menstruation
Which foods are high in iron?
Iron can be found in liver and other meats, seafood, dried fruits like apricots, prunes and raisins, nuts and seeds, beans and lentils, green leafy vegetables like spinach and broccoli, blackstrap molasses, whole grains and iron-fortified breads and cereals. Even if your diet includes these foods, it is highly recommended that you take an iron supplement to meet your daily requirements.
Is there a risk of taking too much iron?
Yes. The recommended daily intake for women is 18mg of iron. Although you get some iron from foods, the average person's body will only dissolve and absorb 20% of most solid supplements and will eliminate the remaining 80%. (Note, your body has the ability to adjust how much iron is absorbed based on your body's needs.)
What are the side effects?
Some people experience constipation when taking solid iron supplements. EasyIron and EasyIron E.G. contain an amino acid chelated form of iron which has shown to be significantly less irritating and constipating than other brands.
Are there different forms of iron?
Besides iron in foods, iron can be found in supplement form in either a solid or liquid. EasyIron's liquid formulation contains Ferrochel, an amino acid chelated form of iron, optimizing absorption, while being more effective in preventing iron depletion.
Why is b12 important?
A deficiency of B12 can cause irreversible nerve and brain damage. EasyIron contains methylcobalamin, a more readily available form of B12 used in the body for neurological processes such as regenerating neurons. Most other iron supplements use cyanocobalamin, which is a form of iron that the body finds difficult to absorb.
What is folic acid?
Folic acid is a vitamin found in various foods and has been associated with reducing the risk of serious birth defects in pregnant women and is essential for making healthy blood cells.
If you are undergoing chemotherapy treatment, do not take iron supplements without the advice of your health care provider. Do
not self diagnose, please consult your health care professional.
It is always more beneficial to take folic acid with B12.
For best results, DO NOT take your iron supplement at the same
time as your calcium supplement, since calcium inhibits iron absorption.
