Natural Factors Pancreatin Plus Enzymes
Digestive enzymes can do more than aid digestion. Because they are so efficient at breaking down protein, carbohydrates, and fats, they are able to stimulate the good bacteria in the gut, detoxify and cleanse the colon, and therefore improve a number of digestion-related conditions, including food and other allergies. They help mobilize and expel harmful products from the body. This process occurs at the cellular level, in organs, and in various systems of the body.
Pancreatin 8X is 8 times as potent as regular pancreatin enzyme.
Proteases aids in protein digestion.
Peptizyme SP is also called "silk worm" enzyme as it is the enzyme used to break down the cocoon of the silk worm. Good clinical research supports its positive results in post-surgical swelling; carpal tunnel syndrome; thrombophlebitis; and ear, nose, and throat disorders.
Papain, from papaya, is similar to chymotrypsin and helps the body to digest proteins, fats and sugars. Papain also helps to kill parasites.
Bromelain is isolated from the stem of the pineapple plant, aids in digestion by breaking down protein, and improves nutrient absorption. Bromelain is a good substitute for the enzymes pepsin and trypsin. Bromelain`s other health benefits include aiding weight loss and improving blood vessel and joint inflammation.
Amylase breaks down carbohydrates and sugars.
Lipase breaks down fats.
Rutin is a bioflavonoid found in many plants. As with other bioflavonoids, rutin works synergistically with vitamin C to scavenge free radicals and to keep collagen healthy. Rutin strengthens capillaries and may help reduce nosebleeds and the bruising and swelling of sports injuries.
Amla is the Indian name for the plant Amlica embilicus, also called "Indian Gooseberry". It is extremely rich in vitamin C. Amla is a natural antioxidant and source of vitamin C that enhances absorption of enzymes.
