Innovite Red Yeast Rice
Cholesterol is a soft, waxy, fat-like substance found within the bloodstream and cells of the body. It is produced naturally in our bodies and very important for many aspects of human health. Although we need cholesterol to maintain our bodys daily functions, too much cholesterol in the blood is a major risk factor for heart disease, and can eventually lead to heart attack, heart failure and death.
Modern Medicine treats high cholesterol with statin medications, which happen to be among the most-prescribed class of drugs in the world. Statins work by inhibiting the activity of a key enzyme in the biological pathway that creates cholesterol. However, this same biological pathway is also responsible for creating CoQ10 and vitamin D, which are essential nutrients for our health.
Red yeast rice (RYR) has long been used for cholesterol reduction by practitioners of Traditional Medicine since it is the natural source of these statins. RYR is just as effective as synthetic pharmaceutical statins, but at a much lower dose. Due to the lower dose needed and its natural form, side-effects common to synthetic statins are seldom seen with RYR.
Inno-Vites Red Yeast Rice is a vegetarian formula that provides a therapeutic daily amount of RYR, along with other complementary ingredients commonly used for cholesterol reduction. However, this formula goes much further than other RYR products in that it also provides CoQ10 ubiquinol and vitamin D3 to prevent any nutrient deficiencies.
