Payment

We accept MasterCard and Visa. We do not accept checks or money orders. Prices are shown and charged in Canadian dollars and converted by your credit card company to your local currency.

Sales Tax

We are required to charge a Harmonised Sales Tax (HST) on most products. For orders outside Canada, no tax is charged. For orders within Canada we charge 12% (BC), 13% (ON, NB & NL) and 15% for orders to Nova Scotia. Most vitamin and supplement products require HST to be charged. Appropriate sales tax amount will be displayed on the check out section of the site.

Shipping Information

We welcome orders from any country. You will be notified by email if we expect to be out of stock of part of your order for more than 5 working days or in the event of a price change or discontinued products.

Shipping within Canada

FREE SHIPPING for orders of $75 CDN or more, before taxes and weighing less than 1 kg. Parcels are sent using Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service. If our free shipping service does not apply then shipments will be charged at a flat rate of $10 or the actual cost charged by Canada Post, whichever is higher.

All items purchased are shipped via Canada Post from Kelowna, BC. Heavy items over 1kg or bulky items may require additional charges.

Shipping to the USA

FREE SHIPPING for orders of $100 CDN or more and weighing less than 1 kg.

For orders over $100, weighing more than 1 kg we will pay 10% of the value of your order towards your actual postage cost, and send you an email to advise you of the additional shipping charge.

For orders under $100 shipments will be charged a flat rate of $10 or the actual cost charged by Canada Post whichever is higher.

Please allow 8-12 business days for delivery. If you would like a faster shipping method, please leave us a note in the comments section of the checkout page, and we will email you with shipping alternatives.

Shipping outside North America

Our shipping costs vary with weight and shipping method, according to Canada Post's policies.

1. For International orders under $100 there is a $10 shipping charge or the actual cost charged by Canada Post, whichever is higher. These costs depend on the weight and dimensions of the parcel and we will contact you if the shipping charges will be more than $10, before sending out your order. We will ship via Small Packet Air which takes approximately 8-12 business days, depending on the location the order is being sent to.

2. For International orders over $100 we will pay 10% of the total value of your order towards shipping, and contact you by phone or email if there is going to be any additional shipping costs. These costs will include one or more of the following options; Small Packet Air, Small Packet Surface, International Air, International Surface, and Xpress Post.

If you have ordered from us before please let us know if you would just like us to add the shipping costs onto your order without waiting for an email confirmation from you to do so. You can do this by leaving a note in the comments section of the checkout page. If shipping costs have changed since your last order, we will contact you with the new shipping costs before proceeding.

Lost Parcels

Please contact us if your parcel has not been received within 14 days of a charge to your credit card. We will initiate a search with the Post Office and advise you of our findings. We will make a claim through Canada Post and once we are reimbursed by them we will credit your credit card. Parcels that are sent outside of Canada via Small Packet Air service cannot be claimed for until they have been missing for 45 days. Parcels sent outside of Canada via Small Packet Surface service cannot be claimed for until they have been missing for 75 business days (3.5 months). This is Canada Post's policy.

We do not accept responsibility for parcels confiscated by customs. If a product is not legally allowed to be imported into the country you have had the product sent to, we will not accept responsibility for any claims. It is the responsibility of the person placing the order to determine the rules for that country. Our reason for this policy is that each country's rules change from day to day and we cannot possibly keep track of them, so please check your country's import regulations before placing your order with us.

Pricing

Do you offer post-order price matching?

We do not offer post-order price matching. The price of an item when your order was shipped was the lowest price we were able to offer at the time.

Do you price match with other retailers?

Abaco Health does not price-match with other retailers. We do, however, consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry.

Returns

All sales are final. We can accept returns within 14 days of you receiving the product. All unwanted product returns will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Credit will only be given for products returned undamaged and unopened, within 14 days of receipt. Returns from the USA will also incur a $20 brokerage fee, which is payable on all parcels entering Canada valued at over $20.

If returning a product that qualified for free shipping (i.e Abaco Health paid for the shipping), then the original cost of shipping the products will also be taken from the balance of any refund owed.

When you buy from Abaco Health, you are assured of getting product that is at all times handled properly according to manufacture's recommendations. Abaco Health supplies the best of premium quality health products.

Customs Charges

We will not accept responsibility for any customs charges incurred through shipping to international destinations. We label all our parcels as samples or gifts to try and avoid import charges, but we cannot guarantee that customs will not open any package and determine that extra charges are due. These charges are the responsibility of the person ordering.

Returned, refused and seized packages

We strongly encourage you to contact your customs office or other appropriate authority before you place an order to familiarize yourself with any regulations or restrictions that may apply. Customs regulations differ by country and not knowing their regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties, delivery being delayed, or returned to us.

Before you make a purchase, please read our disclaimer regarding returned, refused or seized orders:

DISCLAIMER:

• Address or other customer error: If a package is returned to Abaco Health due to address error (or any other error) made by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus a 10% restocking fee.
• Violation of laws: If a package is returned to Abaco Health due to violation of a country's laws, the customer will be responsible for any fees (such as quarantine, warehousing or shipping) billed to Abaco Health. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus a 10% restocking fee.
• Customer refusal: If a customer refuses a package because of additional fees (or for any other reason), Abaco Health will issue a refund for merchandise only, minus a 10% restocking fee, upon receipt of the returned package. The customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred.
• Customs seizure: If a package has been halted/seized by customs or abandoned by the shipping carrier, the customer will not receive credit for the order. If and when Abaco Health receives the returned package, a refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus a 10% restocking fee.
• For any returned package: For any order that is returned to Abaco Health, if return shipping cost is greater than the cost of goods ordered, Abaco Health will instruct the carrier to abandon the package. In such a case, the customer will not receive a refund for the order, but will not be liable for the return shipping cost.
• Destroyed or unreturned package: If a package has been destroyed by customs or the carrier, or has otherwise not been returned to Abaco Health, we cannot issue a refund for the order.

Any duties or taxes that may apply are your responsibility.
