Trophic Biotin. Biotin regulates the metabolism of unsaturated fatty acids and participates in the synthesis of body protein, carbohydrates and fats.
As a liver coenzyme, Biotin is involved in at least four metabolic pathways.

Biotin is a water soluble vitamin that is readily absorbed into the body and rapidly excreted. Must be replenished frequently as it is poorly stored in the body tissue.
Biotin is sensitive to light, heat (cooking) and air. Like most other B vitamins, Biotin is a fragile molecule that is more easily destroyed by processing, storage and food preparation than fat soluble vitamins.
