Summer Survivor-Mosquito Repellent (also known as Bite Blocker). Summer Survivor`s regular strength is based on the HOMS formula. Has a more "perfumy" smell than the Extra Strength formula and is more suitable for Outdoor activities that will not take place for a prolonged period of time (E.G. more than 1.5 hrs or so before reapplication is required) or are "performance" orientated. This formula is based on bioprocessed soybean and coconut oils. The process is covered by a number of patents on file from a Swiss chemist who licenses one of the formulas to HOMS in the United States for distribution there. The formula has received favourable reviews in the USA from the New England Journal of Medicine, John`s Hopkins Medical Center, and numerous other sources. In Canada (the HOMS formula, not Summer Survivor) has been mentioned on CTV, CBC and has been evaluated by the University of Guelph on two occasions. The fomula is safe for use on children, but should not be placed on their hands or face as it is very unpleasant to get it in your eyes or mouth. In 2003 one bottle was returned because the buyer complained it "smelled like a cheap perfume". Another buyer complained it aggraveated her eczema, whereas others have said it did not exacerbate their eczema. Therefore it is best to patch test it on skin prior to use, and purchase in a store so you can smell it from a sample bottle prior to purchase.

Purified water, Geranium, Soybean, Coconut, Vanillin, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Germall Plus (preservative).

Does not contain Deet.

Spray on and Rub In when trying to avoid mosquitos.
