St Francis RespiraCleanse(Horehound Combo) Asthma and Chronic Cough
RespiraCleanse holds an important place in the treatment of coughs, whether they are dry, wet, irritating, spastic or asthmatic. I feel better than I have in years!
I was diagnosed with severe asthma and COPD after working for over 10 years in the barns of a large chicken factory/farm where I inhaled dust, dander, ammonia, methane and many other chemicals. I had to quit my job because of my illness in 2002. I was put on the inhaled steroid, Symbicourt, as well as Spiriva and Combivent. I developed many side effects from the steroid: painful muscle spasms, loose teeth, blurred vision, swollen legs. I wanted to get off the steroids but was unable to find another drug that I could tolerate as a safe replacement.
To improve my health we moved to an area with better air quality and a home that was environmentally very safe. Still I was unable to walk for more than 20 feet without needing to catch my breath and use my puffer. Life was depressing!

I had rhinoplasty a couple of months ago. Immediately after surgery I noticed I always had a stuffed feeling in my sinuses and I thought it was normal. I constantly had a greenish/yellowish mucus coming out of my nose and slowly I would cough it up. One month after the surgery I had a tickle in my throat and within a week I was coughing so long and so hard that chunks of bright red blood would come up with the phlegm. My doctor put me on a round of Amoxicillin. I hate antibiotics because I KNOW how they ravage my body... and they always lead to a yeast infection anyway. After 10 days I noticed I still had that full feeling in my sinuses and I was still coughing... not as much, but I was still coughing. My doctor suggested another round of stronger antibiotics. I declined. I started doing daily sinus rinses with a saline solution. I would add a couple of drops of Goldenseal to the saline solution. I started gargling with salt water. It helped a little. I went to a health food store and the lady recommended your Horehound Combo. I took three doses that day and three doses the next day. That next night I slept through the whole night and didn`t wake up ONCE to cough!!! I was amazed!!! I slacked on the Horehound Combo and the coughing came back. I am back on it now, and I am taking 3 or 4 doses if I can manage it, and it`s definitely helping with the coughing.... Your products are AMAZING!
