Renew Life LiverDETOXWhat is LiverDETOX? LiverDETOX Kit is a unique, 30 day two part cleansing program designed to cleanse and detoxify the liver, while at the same time, support and enhance normal liver function. How is it delivered? LiverDETOX Kit includes a blend of powdered herbs, minerals and amino acids contained in vegetable capsules. What does it do? LiverDETOX Kit works to cleanse and detoxify the liver, while at the same time, support and enhance normal liver function. Part I contains herbs, amino acids, and anti-oxidants which support detoxification and cleansing of the liver. Part II contains a blend of ayurvedic herbs that help support optimal liver function, including bile production. How does it work? The liver is the largest, and one of the most vital, organs in the body. Without it, we would die within 24 hours. It plays a role in many important functions; including making many vital substances such as cholesterol, blood proteins, clotting proteins and lipoproteins. It is also involved in blood filtration, bile production, production and break down of hormones, regulation of blood sugar, and detoxification of endotoxins (internally produced) and exotoxins (environmental). These are just a small list of functions that the liver plays a role in. Optimal liver function is vital in order to deal with the abundance of toxins that are filtered through the liver. If the liver is not in good health, these toxins can cause the liver to become `sluggish`, resulting in congestion or poor functioning. This can lead to many health problems such as toxicity, high cholesterol, poor digestion of foods, fatigue, blood sugar problems, hormone imbalance, headaches/migraines, allergies, sensitivities, and poor skin. LiverDETOX Kit works on many different levels. First, it works to enhance the natural cleansing and detoxification action of the liver by enhancing both Phase I and Phase II liver detoxification. Phase I liver detoxification works to eliminate toxins through a complex group of enzymes know as `Cytochrome P450`. This group of enzymes works to breakdown toxins into non-toxic substances, that can be removed from the body through the kidneys and bladder or via the bile. Phase II liver detoxification works via 6 different mechanisms. It involves a process called `conjugation`. In simple terms, toxic substances are `bound` to other substances in the body (such as glutathione, amino acids, methionine, sulfur, Acetyl Co-enzyme A, and glucuronic acid). Once bound, these substances can be safely eliminated through the kidneys and bladder or via the bile. Second, LiverDETOX Kit works to support and enhance liver function, such as the production of hormones, enzymes, and regulation of blood sugar levels. In this way, LiverDETOX Kit not only helps support the liver, but thousands of bodily processes that are necessary for optimal health. LiverDETOX Kit also helps stimulate the liver`s production of bile, which is used to emulsify dietary fat. Bile is also used as a vehicle to carry toxins into the small intestine, where they are absorbed by fibre and removed from the body through the colon. How do I take it? Take 2 capsules of LiverDETOX I in the morning on an empty stomach (30 minutes before eating). Take 2 capsules of LiverDETOX II in the evening on an empty stomach (3 hours after eating). PLEASE NOTE: Cleansing can be intense. Therefore, you may wish to take half the suggested dosage for the first three days; Take 1 capsule of LiverDETOX I in the morning on an empty stomach (30 minutes before eating) and 1 capsule of LiverDETOX II in the evening on an empty stomach (3 hours after eating). Begin regular dosage from Day 4 onwards until completion. What can I expect? LiverDETOX Kit is designed to improve internal health, as such, physical results are not always noticible. However, many customers have reported results such as having more energy and increased vitality. For the first few days of this cleanse it is normal to experience headaches or cold and flu like symptoms. These reactions often occur as toxins begin to leave the system. Support Products Organic Clear Fibre is a fibre supplement containing acacia fibre. Normally, Renew Life recommends a balanced blend of soluble to insoluble fibre (FibreSMART). However, due to the significant impact this product has on the liver, it is important to supplement with a fully soluble fibre. Acacia fibre is a soluble fibre that absorbs toxins for removal from the body. This is extremely important as unabsorbed toxins can be recirculated back into the body. FishSMART is a blend of the Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, derived from cold water fish oils. These oils have been shown to help lower high cholesterol, as well as in manufacturing every cell wall in the body. By taking FishSMART, it ensures that you have the necessary `pieces` to build new, healthy cells. FishSMART also contains the digestive enzyme Lipase. Lipase is a digestive enzyme required by the body to breakdown fats and oils for maximum absorption. FishSMART is the only Omega 3 fish oil on the market which includes lipase. What does it contain? LiverDETOX I There are several categories of herbs used in the LiverDETOX I: Hepatoprotective (Herbs that protect the cells of the liver) * Alpha Lipoic Acid - Stimulates the production of glutathione. * L-Methionine - An amino acid precursor to `glutathione`, which is essential for Phase II detoxification. It has a protective effect on glutathione, and prevents it`s depletion during toxic overload. * L-Taurine - Increases `sulfaction conjugation` in Phase II detoxification. Important for detoxing drugs, food additives, and toxins from intestinal bacteria. Required to eliminate steroid hormones (estrogen) and thyroid hormones, so they do not overload the body. * N-Acetyl-Cysteine - Converts into `glutathione`, which is essential for Phase II detoxification. Has protective effect on glutathione, and prevents it`s depletion during toxic overload. * Milk Thistle Seed - Includes the extract `Silymarian`, a group of flavonoid compounds. Prevents depletion of glutathione, and has been shown to increase its levels by up to 35%. Has been shown to be effective in treating various liver diseases including cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, fatty infiltration of the liver and inflammation of the bile duct. * Turmeric Root - Has significant hepatoprotective effects. * Selenium - Plays a role in enzyme production by the liver. A selenium deficiency is known to inhibit Phase II detoxification enzymes. Cholagogues (Herbs that stimulate bile flow in the liver) * Artichoke Leaf - Stimulates the production of bile in the liver. * Dandelion Root - Stimulates the production of bile in the liver. * L-Taurine - Helps gallbladder function by forming ‘tauracholate’ from bile acids, which helps to increase cholesterol elimination in the bile. * Phosphatidyl Choline - Increases the solubility of cholesterol, (50 molecules of pure bile salt are required to enclose 1 molecule of cholesterol, while it takes only 7 molecules of a bile salt/phospholipid mix). Antioxidant * Alpha Lipoic Acid - A powerful antioxidant, also restores the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C & Vitamin E after they have been neutralized by free radicals. * Green Tea Leaf - Contains the compound polyphenols, which have strong antioxidant properties. * L-Taurine - Has some antioxidant properties. * Milk Thistle Seed - Includes the extract called Silymarian (a group of flavonoid compounds). Prevents damage to the liver by acting as an antioxidant. * Turmeric Root - Showed significant free radical scavenging properties. * Selenium - a well known antioxidant that is used to protect cell and organelle membranes, including liver organelles. LiverDETOX II There are 4 categories of ayurvedic herbs used in LiverDETOX Part II: Cholagogues (Herbs that stimulate bile flow in the liver) * Eclipta Alba Root & Herb Hepatoprotective (Herbs that protect the cells of the liver) * Boerhavia Diffusa Root & Herb * Eclipta Alba Root & Herb * Tinospora Cordifolia Stem * Andrographis Paniculata Leaf * Picrorhiza Kurroa Root Antioxidant * Tinospora Cordifolia Stem Stimulate peristalsis * Belleric Myrobalan Fruit - 1 of the three fruits that make up Triphala, which is known to promote peristalsis (regular muscle movement of the colon), an important part of detoxification.
