This finishing rinse is a perfect complement to the Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo. It controls static electricity in the hair, maintains the ph balance, and gently detangles, making it an excellent product for fine to normal hair types.

- The conditioner is a good detangler but does not leave the hair feeling greasy. Comb or brush through while on the hair before rinsing off lightly. Conditioners should really only be left in the ends and not at the roots.

Product development all started from me being a hairdresser and wanting to make a product that performed better than most professional shampoos. The ideal ingredient base that I came up with was Apple Cider Vinegar... my grandmother brought ACV to my attention many years ago.

Fifteen years ago I didn’t start out to make an all-natural product. I started to make a product that performs well. As awareness developed and with the advances in technology we were able to progress more towards eco-friendly products, and our product formulations now evolve from using nature friendly ingredients.

I sought to find a BALANCE; a shelf life as opposed to having to keep your product in the fridge instead of the bathroom. Finding ingredients that perform this task has been fundamental. Product development is a process of evolution. I wanted to learn how to make my products more environmentally friendly and still enjoyable to use. The bonuses are they are not harmful to the environment and they still have shelf life. If we don’t pollute the water we use while shampooing, so much the better. You can even take the shampoo camping as an all over body wash. ACV shampoo will rinse out of your hair twice as fast as most other shampoos therefore use less water doing it.

My 50 years experience in hairdressing taught me that you can’t restructure and cleanse the hair at the same time, as some brands tell you. Use your conditioner or styling products to do that if need be. Our shampoo is safe on colour treated hair. One has to know and understand the effects of product on hair.

I have learned to treat hair and skin under normal conditions. Many years of hands on experience with hair and skin taught me how to best administer products and care for both. We are doing our best to make a product that performs well and is environmentally responsible for the conscientious consumer.
