Flora Flor-Essence Dry Herbal Tea Liver Cleanse. Flor•Essence is unlike any other cleansing formula or detoxifying kit. Flor•Essence can be purchased ready-made or be prepared at home. Take on its own or as a tea by diluting the amount listed below with an equal or double amount of hot or cold water. Use spring or distilled water when preparing. Sip slowly. Adults: Take 2 ounces of Flor•Essence twice daily. Children: (4 and up): Give 1 ounce of Flor•Essence twice daily.
Note: Take on an empty stomach, 1 /2 hour before any meal, and at bedtime. After opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 weeks. Flor•Essence can safely be taken during chemotherapy or radiation treatment. Additional Information:
Consistency is the Key:
A simple cup of tea, taken as a tonic every day, can easily become an integral part of your daily routine. Just like a multivitamin, Flor•Essence is most effective as a consistent habit. Nobody becomes muscular from working out once a month; happily, unlike exercise, you needn’t psych yourself up to drink a warm, soothing ‘cuppa’.
The beauty of a liquid is that the dosage can easily be adjusted: - As an antioxidant supplement, or for maintenance: take 30 ml (1 oz.) once daily. - For periodic cleansing: consume 30-60 ml (1-2 oz.) one to three times daily. Continue for as long as you wish, depending on the extent of detoxification desired. Start with the lowest dosage and increase gradually. It is best to take Flor•Essence at least 30 minutes before eating, or at bedtime. Dilute the liquid with an equal amount of filtered hot water, and sip slowly. Also, aim to drink two litres of pure, clean water every day, to help flush out the toxins released by the tea. That may sound like a lot, but if you think of it as only four 500 ml bottles, it’s not so much. Suggestions for external use:
- Mix with water in a spray bottle. Spritz on irritated skin. Keep refrigerated.
- Saturate some soft cotton fabric or gauze. Use as a compress on boils, blisters, rashes etc. to draw out impurities.
